it may be the reverse of ubuntu

un po’ paranoica questa segretezza di pw pubblica…

    • Most of the time, the password is the very word ‘reverse’. Not paranoid, but it seemed like a good pun years go. Now I admit it does more harm than good.

Il più delle volte la password è proprio la parola ‘reverse’. Non è paranoia, ma mi sembrava ironico usarla anni fa. Adesso ammetto che fa più male che bene.

  7. Nathan, the root account is disabled by default in Ubuntu, and we stick to that.
Other distributions do not do that, and we provide the root password we have set.

  8. Gamer says:

the root password can be change without entering root
all that is needed is terminal
once that is open enter this
    sudo passwd root
it will ask for your password which in this case is reverse
then it will say to enter a new UNIX password
    enter anything you like
that is how to change your root password and gain root access
